Pleasant experiance in purchasing my new vehicle.
The total experience of purchasing my new vehicle from Allan was enjoyable. Allan was very informative explaining thing and did not push for a sale allowing me to come to the decision that the car I wanted was the right vehicle for me. Every one else I dealt with at Key West Ford was also very friendly and helpful. All in all it was a pleasant experience and I would definitely do it again when the time comes.

Wes was a down to earth manager. I was impressed how these guys and everyone else in the sales department worked as a team. my truck was detailed perfectly. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. I have certainly found the dealership that I would do business with in the future.

A V8 mentality defines the half-ton world - with critics and drivers both convinced that this engine is essential for every payload. No half-ton truck can prove its worth without one, and all other powertrains should be shunned.
Nissan suggests broadening your torque horizons - because its 2018 Frontier Pro-4X boasts a V6 that will impress on every highway.
According to Nissan, the 2018 Pro-4X defies all V8 traditions. It features a 4.0L DOHC V6, which generates 261 HP and 281 lb.-ft of torque. Its micro-finished camshaft and Teflon-coated pistons deliver a durable design, adapting to every half-ton demand; while the lightweight aluminum block improves fuel efficiency (allowing the truck to achieve 15 MPGs in the city and 21 MPGs on the highway). A five-speed automatic transmission reduces the strain of downshifting, creating a more fluid ride; and a switch-operated transfer case system seamlessly transitions from 4x2 to 4x4 performance to accommodate changing terrains.
The 2018 Frontier’s V6 has been meticulously engineered - and Seattle drivers will reap the rewards of class-leading performance. This Nissan pick-up offers a maximum trailering capacity of 6,450 pounds; and its 60-inch bed provides 1,180 pounds of payload storage.
No V8 is needed.

Efficiency often eludes pick-up fans - with their long-wheeled trucks demanding an excess of fuel, forcing them to constantly seek out stations. Massive engines devour each drop, and heavy payloads strain every resource. This is the way of things.
No more, says Nissan. With the release of the 2018 Frontier S, drivers can finally achieve the economy they crave. This King Cab platform yields best-in-class capability, making it the ideal option for Seattle off-roaders and commercial haulers.
As a recent press release explains, the 2018 S King Cab reinvents the half-ton market - connecting drivers to 19 MPGs in the city and 23 MPGs on the highway. How does Nissan accomplish this feat? It’s fused the Frontier with an advanced engine suite.
Open the hood and discover a 2.5L DOHC four-cylinder - which yields 152 HP and 171 lb.-ft of of torque. Unlike its hulking V8 contemporaries, this powerplant emphasizes efficiency, blending a direct ignition system with induction control. These technologies allow fuel to be distributed with greater care, with continuously variable intake valves optimizing every drop. An electronic drive-by-wire throttle eliminates gas-guzzling gear strains; while platinum-tipped spark plugs ensure immediate current connections (stalled circuits require extra resources). The entire chassis is primed to impress.

Winter often proves a disastrous month for the automotive world - sending drivers scurrying into their homes, keeping them from both the highways and the dealerships. The threat of snow undermines every sale.
In February, however, Nissan managed to defy the season - with its 2018 Frontier achieving strong year-to-year growth. This pick-up fleet (which includes the S, SV, SL, and PRO-4X) rose to the top of the charts in Seattle and beyond.
As a recent Nissan press release explains, the 2018 Frontier generated 7,992 units last month. When compared to 2017’s 4,736 units, this marks an improvement of 68.8% - an impressive feat in the middle of a dreary winter. Combined with the brand’s other top-sellers (the Rogue, Titan, and Murano), this pick-up helped to deliver a record-breaking February.
The Kirkland team knows why. With the release of the 2018 Frontier, Nissan has provided drivers with staggering payload performance. This fleet - which is anchored by a 4.0L 24-valve V6, revving to 261 HP and 281 lb.-ft of torque - can achieve up to 6,640 pounds of conventional towing. This marks it as ideal for both commercial and all-terrain needs, with its massive bed (between 60 inches to 73.2 inches) accommodating any haul. Rely on this six-speed beast on every adventure.
The 2018 Frontier is a top-seller at the Kirkland lot. To schedule a test-drive in one of our current models (or to request further specs) contact us today.
February proved to be the month of the crossover - with Nissan’s venerable Rogue delivering record-breaking results in Seattle. This platform (anchored by the S, SV, and SL trims) dominated the charts and helped to spur the brand past its competitors. The new year has begun with a sales bang.
According to Nissan, the 2018 Rogue experienced exceptional year-to-year growth - earning 38,119 total units for February. This marked a 15% increase from 2017 (33,149 total units); and it set a new record for both the model and the month. Winter was no deterrent for Seattle drivers, with all of them flocking to dealerships to secure this SUV.
We’re not surprised. Since its release the 2018 Rogue has proven a popular option for our customers, connecting them to the performance they crave. Each trim boasts a 2.5L DOHC four-cylinder engine, delivering 170 HP and 175 lb.-ft of torque. An Xtronic transmission yields sport-mode shifting and smooth handling, while an available AWD promises easy terrain conquering (utilize both Hill Start Assist and Active Ride Control to improve responses, with these technologies stabilizing the suspension). Speed-sensitive steering further bolsters every mile, adapting to driver demands with electronic precision.
The 2018 Rogue offers dynamic performance - and it’s certain to continue to impress in the months to come.
Great size demands slow speeds. This is an automotive truth that’s haunted your every mile - forcing you to endure slow accelerations and stuttering stops. Nimbleness, you know, is an impossibility.
Allow Nissan to redefine your reality - with its 2016 Titan XD proving a deft option for every driver.
As Car and Driver explains, the 2016 Titan XD offers surprising speed. Despite its hulking frame - which measures 243-inches long, 81-inches wide, and 79-inches high - this 7,280-pound behemoth can keep pace with the coupe market. Press the pedal and feel its 5.0L V8 engine roar to life, offering:
0 to 60 Acceleration: 9.4 seconds.
0 to 100 Acceleration: 28.9 seconds.
Anchored by a responsive Aislin transmission - as well a series of lightweight aluminum components, including engine valve covers and a selective-catalytic reducer - the Titan can achieve a maximum speed of 104 MPH. It allows drivers to quickly accelerate, reaching its top gear in just 7.3 seconds.
Those hauling heavy payloads know, however, that fast speeds demand superior stoppage - which is why the XD’s ability to decelerate from 70 MPH in a mere 197 feet should impress.
No longer compromise performance for power. Instead let Nissan provide you with both.

Time rarely proves a friend to the automotive world - undermining performance and stripping away value with every year. It overwhelms pick-ups… and leads them quickly to the scrap-yard.
Nissan seems to have tamed the tick-tock beast, however - because its 2016 Titan XD still offers class-leading power in Seattle.
According to Car and Driver, the 2016 Titan XD remains a potent pick-up. Boasting a 305 cu.-inch V8, this platform generates 310 HP and 555 lb.-ft of torque. It combines sequential turbocharged technology with a robust 32-valve design, delivering a redline of 3,200 RPM; and its direct-injection functionality promises enhanced fuel distribution, with 15 MPGs achieved on the highway. A six-speed automatic transmission (complete with manual mode) ensures deft handling, while the engine's iron block construction can endure even the lowest Washington temperatures.
This pick-up promises sustainability - keeping pace with both its contemporaries and its current competitors. Push the Cummins engine to the limits and discover segment-leading performance (up to 12,310 pounds of conventional towing and up to 2,589 pounds of payload hauling). Time hasn’t left the Titan struggling.

The day proves ever-changing - with the Seattle skyline cloaked in rain, snow, and occasional bursts of sun. You navigate each season within an afternoon and this feat leaves you frustrated, trying to decipher the roads in the fogged span of your side-view mirrors. Your sedan can’t adapt to the constant temperature drops.
Nissan sympathizes - which is why it’s fused the 2018 Armada SL with a series of exterior convenience features. Each proves perfect for Washington’s wild climate and allows drivers to quickly accommodate every hour.
As Car and Driver explains, the 2018 Armada SL provides superior highway support. LED running-lamps flank the grille, offering automatic responses during low visibility conditions. Rain-sensing windshield wipers adjust both their patterns and speeds as needed, engaging whenever the weather changes; while power-folding side-view mirrors feature heating technologies to counter fog, sleet, and every element in between (the glass will remain clear, with all condensation removed). Puddle lights further improve traveling, projecting crisp halogen beams through the winter dark.
The Armada SL also features 20-inch wheels, which help to push its ground clearance to 9.1-inches. This allows the platform to accommodate every terrain - whether rising rivers, deep mud, or rocky roads.
With the release of the 2018 Armada SL, Nissan provides Seattle drivers with the ease they crave. To learn more about this SUV contact us today.

Since the beginning of the year, rumors have been circulating about the possibility of Nissan releasing an all-new Terra vehicle. And recently, those suspicions were confirmed when the automaker released a statement announcing the arrival of the Terra in China this spring.
The SUV will be the first vehicle from Nissan's Frame and LCV Division to launch under the company's mid-term plan, Nissan M.O.V.E. 2022 - an initiative that the automaker hopes will make them a global leader in pickups and frame-based SUVs.
At the moment, little is known about the all-wheel drive Terra, but automotive watchers are speculating that it will feature a 2.5-liter four-cylinder powerplant that delivers 184 horsepower. It's designed to be practical and authentic with a rugged "go anywhere" attitude.
Come April, Nissan will release further information about the Terra, which is expected to launch to other Asian markets after its China release. Will the Terra make its way to North American soil? It's too early to know, but we will be following the launch very closely.

Nissan is back with another exciting collaboration with the legendary Hollywood automotive fabricators at Vehicle Effects – the same designers that created the seven "Star Wars: The Last Jedi”-inspired cars at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show.
But this time, Nissan didn’t reveal “The Force” – they unveiled a trio of 2018 Leaf concept cars, inspired by “A Wrinkle in Time.” This collaboration celebrates the automaker’s partnership with Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, which produced the film.
These one-of-a-kind Leaf vehicles use advanced LED technology to create a mesmerizing light show effect similar to the one seen in the movie. With breakthrough technology being a key part of the storyline, collaborating with the Nissan Leaf was a natural fit. After all, the cornerstone of the Leaf EV is the inclusion of revolutionary technologies, like ProPilot, which relieves the stresses of highway driving for motorists.
According to CarScoops, all three modified Nissan Leafs use design elements inspired by the extravagant costumes worn by the film's characters, including Mrs. Which (Oprah Winfrey), Mrs. Who (Mindy Kaling) and Mrs. Whatsit (Reese Witherspoon). Custom touch-sensitive screens covering the windshield and side windows also act as a stage for the interactive light show, which mimics the "wrinkle" effect from the movie. Additionally, the concept cars are equipped with heat-sensing cameras that track and react to approaching users.
Unfortunately for Disney fans, these Leaf show vehicles are not for sale. However, they do celebrate a new world of technology, which can be found on stock 2018 Leaf models.
To learn more, please contact Kirkland Nissan in Seattle, Washington to speak with a member of our sales team or to schedule a test drive in an all-new Leaf EV.

By now, you've heard all of the amazing things that the Nissan Leaf can do: it eliminates gas costs with its plug-in performance, it can drive 150 miles on a single charge, and it can even let motorists accelerate, decelerate and stop their car by using the accelerator pedal alone. All pretty impressive, right?
Well, now, the Leaf is up to its latest endeavor - partaking in the Electric Explorer African Challenge 2018, which is the first-ever EV expedition across Africa.
Driven by Polish traveler, Arkady Paweł Fiedler, and accompanied by photographer Albert Wójtowicz, the two men will traverse great distances in an unmodified Leaf, starting in Western Africa and finally crossing western Europe to their home country. Poor road conditions, limited charging infrastructure and dramatically diverse weather conditions are sure to make their trek a challenge, but the adventurers are confident.
"We're optimistic," said Fiedler in a press release. "As part of the tests, I've already travelled over 4,000 kilometers in Poland in a Nissan Leaf, and I'm positively surprised by the driving range offered."
Apart from being the first ever EV journey across the African continent, the expedition also aims to raise awareness of plug-in technologies that are now available to the masses. The goal is to show consumers that they have a choice - all of which has a great impact on the earth and our environment.
Curious to see how well the Leaf fares? You can follow along with Fiedler's journey on Facebook and Instagram.
