Everyone from sales (Jack Campbell) to the financing (michelle) process was extremely pleasurable. They helped me a first time truck buyer through a complicated process and made it easy. I felt appreciated and that it was an honest and trustworthy environment. I will be using them for all my vehicle purchases and trade ins moving forward.
Pete Olson was the best
Pete made buying a vehicle so pleasant and easy. I haven’t bought many vehicles in my life but I’ve heard car salesmen can sometimes be bad to deal with. Not in this case. Pete was one of the nicest guys I’ve met, and really knew his stuff about vehicles. He even came in on his day off to make sure I got what I needed and make sure he was there when I was able to drive off the lot. I highly recommend Key West Ford, and especially Pete Olson.
Quick, easy, and personable!
Erick was a pleasure to deal with, this was my first time purchasing a vehicle, and Erick made it very easy! I was worried going into the dealership as I was unsure of what to expect; however Erick had my best interest and was very attentive to what I was looking for. If you ever drop by this dealership I would highly recommend dealing with Erick!! He will make it his mission to get you exactly what you are searching for, at the best prices!
Very friendly and knowledgable
We went to dealership looking for a specific vehicle and found exactly that, no pressure to upsell. Sales, finance, and insurance team were friendly and efficient.

There’s been some huge news in the automotive world this week! If you recall back to last June, Nissan revealed a special edition of its GT-R during the Goodwood Festival of Speed in England. The vehicle marked the 50th anniversary of both the model and Italdesign – the Italian firm in charge of the GT-R50’s design. Days before its public debut at Goodwood, an official prototype was unveiled, yet there was no word of a forthcoming production.
Well, all that has changed. Nissan and Italdesign have now confirmed that a limited production run of the GT-R50 will, in fact, move ahead.
Priced at 990,000 euros (or approximately $1.1 million USD), the GT-R50 will growl with a 3.8-liter V6 engine rated at 710 horsepower. This is over and above the performance of the regular model with the NISMO trim level, plus buyers will have a choice of interior and exterior colors to suit their personal style.
Check it out for yourself:
The special edition GT-R50 will be produced in Italdesign’s shop in Turin, Italy, with only 50 models being made. Deliveries are expected to begin in 2019 and will continue through 2020.

If you’ve been following news about the 2019 Leaf all-electric vehicle, you may remember hearing speculation earlier this year about the plug-in receiving a larger battery and range at some point in the near future. The Drive recently published an article about this topic this week and according to their sources, a German publication has reportedly attained the new larger battery’s specifications.
At the moment, the 2019 Leaf is equipped with a 40-kWh battery for a range of 150 miles. Based on The Drive’s research, this is on the shorter side when it comes to all-electric range distances, but not for long. According to the German site, Electrive, a Leaf E-Plus is expected for 2019 and will include a 60-kWh battery for a total range of approximately 220 miles. Charging times should be comparable with the current model too.
The enhanced powertrain is reportedly a $6,580 USD premium over the base 40-kWh Leaf, bring the total cost of the vehicle to around $36,500 USD.
More details about the Leaf E-Plus are expected to be announced at the 2019 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January. Be sure to check back to our blog in the New Year, as our team at Kirkland Nissan in Seattle is paying close attention to this developing story.

With the ongoing wildfires in Northern California and Northern Los Angeles, Nissan is giving back to those in need by offering free in-cabin microfilter replacements for customers impacted by the disaster. This complimentary service, which includes labor for installation and inspection, is being offered until January 31, 2019, at over 50 Nissan dealerships.
“We are heartbroken by the devastation of these wildfires and want to help those who have been affected in some way,” said Kevin Wagstaff, Regional VP, Nissan North America in a press release. “We can only hope this offer of a free in-cabin microfilter replacement provides some relief as communities begin to rebuild.”
It’s very important for Nissan owners impacted by the wildfires to have their vehicles inspected and to replace the in-cabin microfilters. This is a key component since its job is to clean the air entering the cabin by trapping pollen, bacteria, dust and exhaust gases. If left untouched, it could compromise the car’s interior air quality.
The automaker has also committed to performing free multi-point inspections on Nissan vehicles brought in for in-cabin microfilter replacements, along with deferring payment options and providing employee pricing on new vehicles for Northern California and Northern Los Angeles residents affected by the wildfires.
From all of us at Kirkland Nissan, our hearts go out to those touched by this disaster. To learn more about the important causes that Nissan supports, call our dealership today.
