2018 nissan murano for sale in seattle washingtonAccording to a press release, the Nissan Group ended the summer off with a bang selling 112,376 units in August 2018, which is an increase of 4 percent compared to the same time last year. This gain was largely due to the Nissan Murano, which set a summer sales record, selling 9,619 units. Compared to last August’s 4,895 units, that’s an increase of almost 97 percent!

This isn’t the first time that the Murano has taken the charts by storm. In July, the crossover experienced an uptick, even though Nissan as a whole saw a 15 percent decrease in overall sales when compared to the same time last year.

So what’s all the fuss about, you ask? Why are crossover shoppers congregating to the Murano? It’s the vehicle’s enhanced feature set.

For 2018, Nissan augmented the Murano by offering even more standard and available equipment, which are first-class in nature and wildly purposeful. This includes the tech options on the vehicle, which now include a new Premium Package that boasts a wide range of driver-assist and convenience features. With this add-on, motorists can benefit from an Intelligent Around View Monitor and Intelligent Cruise Control, as well as an Intelligent Driver Alertness feature. There is also a Power Panoramic Moonroof, Bose premium audio system with 11 speakers, and heated front seats and outside mirrors to sweeten the pot.

The 2018 Murano delivers drivers even more value than previous models. To learn more about this premium platform, including pricing and specs, contact our team at Kirkland Nissan in Seattle for a test drive.
new nissan leaf for sale seattle bellevue waDemand more than efficiency from the electric market. Instead, Sumner, expect safety with every mile - relying on the 2019 LEAF to deliver the security you deserve.

According to Inside EVs, the new LEAF offers a comprehensive safety suite - allowing drivers to confidently navigate each road. Automatic on/off headlamps frame the front, with integrated sensors identifying low-light conditions and activating the beams. Blind spot monitors flank the side-view mirrors, seamlessly detecting approaching vehicles or pedestrians; while rear cross-traffic alerts track changing traffic patterns (streaming audio and visual warnings via a seven-inch touchscreen). An emergency braking system responds intuitively to potential crashes, quickly assessing highway conditions and applying ABS pressure as needed; while an Intelligent Around View camera provides 360-degree perspectives for full high-definition coverage.

Each of these systems then pairs with Driver Alertness software - an exclusive Nissan feature that studies input patterns (including speed, trajectory, and lane positioning) to determine whether operators are losing focus. If a concern is detected chimes will sound, affording enough time to correct the issues before an accident occurs.

The 2019 LEAF promises sterling safety in Sumner. To learn more about this electric platform contact our team today!

new nissan leaf for sale seattle bellevue waFrustration follows you on the highway - mocking every attempt at connectivity, chiding your frantic button pushes. Allow Nissan to change that.

According to Inside EVs, the 2019 LEAF will soon arrive - and it’s bringing premium tech with it. This platform (which will feature S, SV, and SL variants) boasts integrated wireless Bluetooth links, which allow drivers to effortlessly connect to their favorite content. A seven-inch touchscreen frames the central console, flanked by auxiliary input jacks; while a streaming audio system bolsters every signal, ensuring easy access to SiriusXM Radio. A quick-charge port anchors the front, providing seamless power for each smart device; while Apple CarPlay and Android Auto technology prove essential, enabling passengers to sync their music, social networks, and text-messages (all of which can then be accessed via natural-based voice commands).

A Bose audio system further impresses, pumping out Hi-Fi sound through a seven-speaker design. Take advantage of rumbling notes when streaming content through the NissanConnect media center.

2019 nissan altima for sale in kirkland tacoma seattle washingtonIn June 1992, the first Nissan Altima rolled off the production lines at their automaker’s Smyrna, Tennessee Assembly Plant. Since then, that number has ballooned to 4.6 million midsize sedans.

And, now with the release of the all-new 2019 Altima, that figure is about to sky-rocket again, as Nissan recently announced that they invested $170 million dollars for new upgrades for the Smyrna Plant. According to their press release, some funds were also allocated to its vehicle assembly facility in Canton, Mississippi, which will assist with the manufacturing of the Altima as well.

With the funding, a state-of-the-art laser brazing system was added to the body shop that gives the flexibility to weld the Altima’s sleek trunk lid. The paint shop was also updated with a new polyurethane stone guard coat paint system, which provides a more durable, best-in-class exterior appearance. Since the 2019 Altima will feature standard ProPilot Assist, Nissan added calibration equipment to the plant to ensure the reliability and functionality of the semi-autonomous technology.

The all-new Altima isn’t due to hit our dealership’s inventory until this fall, but it is exciting to hear how much innovative engineering is being put into the sedan.

nissan z cars for sale in seattle washingtonAccording to Wheels, the next Z-car is in development. The online publication spoke with Nissan's Senior Vice President of Global Design, Alfonso Albaisa, who claims that planning for the next-gen Z is already underway

“The Z-car, oh my god. Huge pressure,” said Albaisa in the interview when reviewing the to-do list of Nissan design work. “You can imagine I’m completely excited that I am in the position to work on that.” And there truly isn’t a better person for the job. Albaisa has developed a series of Nissan and INFINITI show cars over his 31 years with the automaker.

The Drive has also reported that the next Z-car will follow in the footsteps of the Toyota-BMW partnership, which resulted in the rebirth of the Toyota Supra and a new-gen BMW Z4 – both of which share the same platform and drivetrain. As with the platforms that underpin the current Infiniti QX50 and QX30, the next Z-car may share a platform co-developed with Daimler.

Little more is known right now, but The Drive is speculating that Nissan will reveal the new Z-car at the Tokyo Motor Show in October with a production-ready variant hitting the stage at the 2019 Los Angeles Auto Show. If all goes well, a new Z-car could be available in dealership showrooms by 2020.

As soon as more details are revealed, we’ll be sure to share them on our Kirkland Nissan news blog
Until then, stay tuned or contact our dealership for additional information.
Safety now proves standard for the sport utility market - with Nissan fusing its entire Armada fleet (the SV, SL, Platinum, and Platinum Reserve) with Automatic Emergency Braking. This system will redefine driver security, delivering both automated responses and peace of mind.

According to The Drive, the 2019 Armada has been fused with advanced protection. Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) releases radar signals across the roadway - generating precise 3D maps of the surrounding area. Through this, it can instantly identify sudden changes in both traffic patterns or the terrain (such as approaching pedestrians). Sensors immediately send this data to the center console, determining which of the two available strategies to use if a collision proves likely:

Audio and visual warnings are streamed through the eight-inch touchscreen - immediately alerting drivers to the potential danger and allowing them to decelerate.

Should no action be taken by the operator, the Armada's AEB system will instead engage the brakes itself - decreasing speed and controlling the steering column. This will help to mitigate a crash.

Through the standardization of Automatic Emergency Braking Nissan allows families to more securely explore the Lynnwood streets - bolstering every mile with seamless radar support.

To learn more about this safety system contact our dealership today.

It’s a stop-and-go world. Around you cars push forward, slam to a halt, and hurry to repeat the pattern - with their drivers anxious to escape the highway. You find yourself surrounded by fickle speeds and frantic trajectories; and worry settles deep within your bones. How will you maneuver through this madness?

We suggest relying on the 2019 Armada Platinum’s Intelligent Cruise Control system.

As The Drive explains, the new Armada is ready for even the wildest traffic patterns. Bolstering its chassis is Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC) technology. This system delivers superior acceleration - with radar sensors mounted along the front bumper. These yield real-time scans, instantly mapping both forward traffic speeds and road conditions (including inclines, curves, and lane deviations). This information is then fed into a brake actuator, which assesses all data and creates viable response strategies:

If the following distance between the Armada and the preceding vehicle is considered too dangerous, acceleration will be slowed to assure further inches.

If the vehicle ahead comes to a sudden stop, the brakes will automatically engage to allow for a smooth stall.

If a change in terrain is detected, a gentle deceleration will be applied - with the steering column and ABS functions both activated to mitigate sudden rolls.

Through these responses, the ICC system allows the Armada Platinum to adapt to every moment - bringing true confidence to the Bellevue market.
